    WBUQ POSTPONES REVOLUTION RUCKUS

WBUQ has announced the postponement of the Revolution Ruckus, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 17.

Inclement weather this past weekend forced the station to postpone the Ruckus until a later date, and, after further review, the station has decided it would be in their best interest to postpone the Ruckus until the beginning of the fall semester.

The Revolution Ruckus is a completely student-run event that was set to feature seven local bands and national recording artist Paxton. There is no word yet whether Paxton will be able to reappear for the Ruckus in the fall.

"We are very disappointed that the Revolution Ruckus was not able to go on as scheduled," said Bryan Klementisz, Remote Director for WBUQ and co-chair of the Revolution Ruckus committee.

"With finals quickly arriving and with all the confusion of rebooking bands and equipment, the station just thought that we, the campus, and community would be best served if we postponed the concert until the fall semester," Klementisz said.

"We are extremely appreciative of the work that everyone has done to the make the Ruckus a success," said Chris Wagner, Specialty Director for WBUQ and co-chair of the Revolution Ruckus committee.

"When the Ruckus occurs in the fall, we hope the support that we've gotten from the campus and community continues," Wagner said.
