| In the top 3 steak restaurants ever for me. The service was impeccable--on top of things, extremely courteous, but not overbearing. Crab cakes were nearly perfect as an app, and the Turtle Soup was impressive as well. For steaks, well, I'd recommend jumping into the Double Eagle Steak if you can eat 26 oz of great steak. Come to think of it, if you can't/don't want to eat that much steak, this probably isn't the right place for you. The food is top notch and it's a very elegant restaurant, but the portions are for the faint of heart. It's a lot of food and the cost is a little bit too expensive for the food, but I was quite impressed anyway. Also, the wine list was very, very extensive (over 1K bottles) from all price ranges. |
