Las Vegas

Attraction Name
ATV Adventures Inc  (http://www.las-vegas-atv-adventures.com)
Description
Very fun ATV rides through the desert, about an hour outside of Las Vegas.

While they say it's a 5-hour adventure, it really only turns out to be 1.5 hours of "scenic racing", with a whole lot of time on a bus.

Regardless, you see beautiful scenery and have a lot of fun.

Hotel Name
Luxor  (http://www.luxor.com)
Description
Decent hotel/casino right at the beginning of the strip. Rooms were nice sized and fairly inexpensive during the week.

I'd recommend the tower rooms, as they're supposed to have more room than the pyramid room. Nice accessibility to the airport, too.

Description
Decent Italian restaurant off the strip. Good sauce, excellent calamari, tasty desserts and nice portions.

A little on the expensive side, though.

Restaurant Name
Del Friscos Double Eagle Steak House  (http://www.delfriscos.com)
Description
In the top 3 steak restaurants ever for me. The service was impeccable--on top of things, extremely courteous, but not overbearing.

Crab cakes were nearly perfect as an app, and the Turtle Soup was impressive as well. For steaks, well, I'd recommend jumping into the Double Eagle Steak if you can eat 26 oz of great steak.

Come to think of it, if you can't/don't want to eat that much steak, this probably isn't the right place for you. The food is top notch and it's a very elegant restaurant, but the portions are for the faint of heart.

It's a lot of food and the cost is a little bit too expensive for the food, but I was quite impressed anyway.

Also, the wine list was very, very extensive (over 1K bottles) from all price ranges.

Restaurant Name
Hobrauhaus  (http://www.hofbrauhauslasvegas.com)
Description
Excellent German beer house right off the strip. I'd highly recommend the 1L Hofbrau Original beer, and definitely the huge pretzels.

They've got a German oompa band that plays throughout the night and goes through the crowd.
