    Attraction Name
    Georgia Aquarium  (http://www.georgiaaquarium.org)
    Description
Probably one of the best aquariums in the country, along with the Monterey Bay aquarium in California. This aquarium has five main areas to view and a ton of 60 foot aquariums where you can see sharks, rare fish and other creatures. Definitely a great time with fantastic pictures. I'd highly recommend it.

    Bar Name
    Tavern on 74
    Description
Decent sized sports bar with a ton of tables and nice-sized flat screen TVs. I'd recommend not going Monday evenings, as it's trivia night and the trivia guy is an idiot.

Also, they have an excellent jukebox, and the clientele is prime for random fun songs from the past. I heard Snow's Informer when I was there. I played it, but still....

    Hotel Name
    The Georgian Terrace  (http://www.thegeorgianterrace.com)
    Description
Beautiful old (1820s) hotel in downtown Atlanta right across from the Fox Theatre. Huge suites with lots of amenities, including a washer/dryer, full kitchen and living room/bedroom with a very comfortable bed. If you can get a rate of less than 175/night, I'd recommend it.

    A couple tips:
    - Using valet parking. The attached parking garage is not associated with the hotel, so you pay the hourly rate. With valet, you can do unlimited in/out for $25 a day, which makes it easier.

    - The gym leaves a little to be desired. It's a got a beautiful view on the Penthouse level, but a number of the machines weren't working, which makes it cramped. Get there early and be willing to use different machines.

    Restaurant Name
    Border Mexican Restaurant
    Description
It's a bit of a hole in the wall, but it's quite good. The locals go here and I can understand why. Most combinations/specials are $5-$7, and the food is of excellent quality.

Service leaves a bit to be desired, spilling soda on the table, running around the restaurant, etc, but the food more than makes up for it.

    Restaurant Name
    E -KA Japnese Steakhouse
    Description
Expensive and below average sushi restaurant and habachi grill. The initial salad gave me the runs, so I wouldn't recommend it.

    Restaurant Name
    Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen
    Description
It's a chain, but still pretty good. I had the grilled Mahi Mahi which was quite tasty. In Atlanta, they have Shiner Bock on tap.

    Casual atmosphere and moderately expensive.

    Restaurant Name
    Rosa Mexicano - Atlanta  (http://www.rosamexicano.info)
    Description
Awesome Mexican place right in the middle of Atlantic Station (a newly refurbed area in Atlanta). Definitely try the Guacamole en Molcajete appetizer. They make it in front of you.

I had the Alambre a la Mexicana, which was very tasty.

It's a bit upscale with a nice margarita menu and tequila flights. Just make sure you aren't driving home.

    Restaurant Name
    Sushi Toro
    Description
Definitely one of the better sushi restaurants that I've been to. The service was extremely quick and the portions were gigantic--probably the biggest portions for the price of any sushi restaurant I've been to. I highly recommend this.

    Restaurant Name
    Vortex Bar & Grill
    Description
Definitely one of the better bison burgers I've had in a while. Huge burger menu with all the fixins, and a nice sized draft and bottled beer menu.

Very funky interior with a ton of personality.
