Very unimpressive restaurant in Fisherman's Wharf. Service was bad, food was overpriced and unimpressive. I get the feeling that this place used to be good years ago, but I can't figure out why.

Home of the original sourdough bread, this restaurant has fantastic clam chowder/crab & corn chowder in a breadbowl and excellent bread, of course. You'll pass by the working bakery on your way in, which is worth a look.
Regardless, eat all of the bread they give you. Well worth the money.
Seafood restaurant at the corner of Steurt and Mission. A little expensive, but definitely worth it.
Wine list is over 1,000 bottles, fully stocked bar, pastry chef with awesome desserts.
Get the butter fish, the filet or pretty much any entree they have. I'd recommend the scallops or ravioli for appetizers and definitely the creme brulee for dessert.
It's very well designed, has an interesting ceiling, architecture, etc. Service is fantastic.
