Brewpub in downtown Bethlehem. Always a good couple of beers on tap. For the old standby, try the Valley Golden Ale.
As food goes, I'd say it's better than average. They have good burgers and gigantic nachos (though expensive). I always look and have been very happy with their daily specials.
Quite tasty middle eastern place in the middle of Allentown. I got the lamb kabobs which were excellent, as was the baba ganoush and the humus. It's a bunch of small tables in a small restaurant which gets busy at lunch, so get there early.
The best (and well, only) BBQ restaurant in Allentown. It's actually quite good. I recommend the full sampler, which an unbelievably large amount of food. Good pulled pork and brisket.
I recommend going after 6pm. The meat needs the extra time.
While Sals may have the best sicilian pizza in the area, I think Mario's has the best pizza overall. They have a very unique and incredibly tasty sauce that makes the pizza.
Also, try the sandwiches, as they have excellent bread. The small is probably large enough.
This place has the best (and cheapest) sicilian pizza. It's gigantic and only costs about 10 bucks. Call ahead and be prepared to wait, as they're never on time
THE local hot dog shop. Great hot dogs and chili, though it's a little different than what you're used to. The employees are very courteous and the service is fast.
To make yourself look like a local, try a chocolate milk with the dogs.
